September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World
The Redford Township District Library has partnered with 911Memroial.org for the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. Please visit the library during the month of September to view the display that was provided by the 911 Memorial. This educational exhibition recounts the events of September 11, 2001, through the personal stories of those who witnessed and survived the attacks. Told across 14 posters, this exhibition includes archival photographs and images of artifacts from the Museum’s permanent collection.
The poster exhibition was developed by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and has been made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities: Democracy Demands Wisdom.
